Most calendars divide the year into small, cramped squares. Screens partition time and offer distractions.
The Year Planner enables you to see the year in its entirety. It offers space, clarity and context.

Must flip pages
Hard to see beyond current month
Difficult to visualise multi-week events
Small screens
Hard to see whole year in detail
Cluttered layout

Panoramic view of whole year
Lozenge-shaped weeks for easy identification
Plenty of space to mark events and blocks of time
A physical, mindful planning experience
"Around 33 years ago I started to put down on paper a concept of time-representation that I had long had in my head: of it being a continuous spiral ribbon. The idea that a portion of time such as a month just ends, and starts again on a new line, was not how I envisaged it.
My early attempts saw a parallel, ribbon-like spiral, but I eventually envisaged the lozenge shape for individual weeks, as a way of creating a unique shape for each day, to assist quick identification of days. I gradually refined the design, to the one seen today. I started off drawing free-hand, and latterly have been using design software.
I have considered carefully what information to include, and have decided on the most basic: Day, Date, Month, Year. It is free for the user to add their own important milestones along the year. Appointments, work rotas, holidays, visits can be marked as the user wishes, either within the day-fields, or in the open space outside the spiral design.
In recent years I have had a small number printed each year for my family's use, and it has now become an annual routine – they, as do I, find them indispensable. I hope my concept of the flow of time will resonate with you."

"Very clear year planner, with plenty of space to write (or draw) on! I love the whole year view and the interesting design- couldn't use anything else!"

"I like how the months don't come to an abrupt end and days just carry on after each other, like in normal life.."
- Susan Martyr
"I've used this year planner for years now. I love how it depicts time as an unbroken flow, which is exactly how I visualise time myself. No other planner makes it this easy to plan future events or conceive of time periods."
- Spiro Martyr
